This garden is a tricky shape, wrapping around the property. The main area which gets the afternoon sun is taken up with a very large pond. Having rehomed some fish and losing some to the heron 🙁 the client wants to reduce the size for ease of future maintenance.

Brief:

A low maintenance garden with space for some planting and pottering, with minimal weeding requirement. The client wants to make moving around the garden easier too.

With help from the fantastic landscapers, Andy and team, the pond was dismantelled and filled in. A new patio, pergola, curved raised beds and smaller pond with rockery was added. The paths and driveway are contructed with resin bound aggregate for a smooth finish. New steps to the doorway front and rear, bins relocated.
