This is actually my own garden! We have not lived in this house long, and the beautiful walled courtyard longed for some planting and colour. We definitely didn’t want to keep the astro turf so that was the first to go. We wanted to achieve a traditional coach house feel, colour all year round, loads and loads of lush green, and a relaxed cottage garden feel, with a minimum budget. All the verbena bonariensis self seeded from a couple I had in a pot so we left them where they landed.

Happy with the result, the after photos are only 4 months after planting.
