The client came to me after previously having gardener plant some (what looked like unsuitable) plants, which unsurprisingly didnt make it through the previous summer. The garden is very exposed and south-east facing in Whitnash and the bed does not have much depth which makes it tricky. The client asked for colour and some architectural interest. We have carefully selected drought tolerant (once established) perennials and a tree for the corner. The cordyline hasn’t reached a good size yet, but we want to add lighting in the future.
Cost: ~£700 including soil improver mulch, labour and plants
